Chesa Dental Care Services was founded in 1992 and has been in the market for over 28 years now. It came in to being from the vision of two dentists, Dr. Vijay Lilaramani and Dr. Anju Lilaramani to provide quality products at an affordable price to their peers and colleagues. The company started with a small team and a few trading products on its portfolio, and over the years, Chesa has expanded in terms of team size, reach, customer base, service support and product offering, making it one of the largest companies in the Indian Dental industry.

Today, Chesa operates with a strength of over 150 employees on field, 100 in administration and manufacturing. Chesa also has one of the widest distribution channel with 120 distributors, giving Chesa a strength of almost 350 people working towards on a common goal. In an exclusive interview with CEO Insights, Dr. Vijay and Dr. Anju talk more about how they were able to become pioneers in this segment and what helped them to succeed in the Indian Dental industry.

1992

Chesa founded

Started the company with a team of 2, core business was focused around Dental Trading in consumable and eventually Dental Chairs by 1994.

1999

First Manufacturing Plant

Set up the first manufacturing plant and manufactured the first 100% InHouse Indian Chair. This was alongside maintaining the trading component for various other products.

2006

Established the Manufacturing plant

Established the manufacturing plant in a prime location with a capacity to produce over 150 Dental Chairs per month, became a fierce competition for top players at that time.

2013

Entered the Radiology market

Entered the Radiology market via the distribution business and Diagnostic centers. Also expanded manufacturing capacity of Dental Chairs by creation of a new manufacturing plant.

2018

Established multiple strategic tie-ups

Reached position of the largest Dental trader and manufacturer in the country in terms of revenue. Established multiple strategic tie-ups and became the largest team of over 270 people and 80 distributors.

2020

Launched a line of COVID protection products

Annoutext-orangenced association with 3M Dental as a Pan India Super stockist. Launched a line of COVID protection products for Dentists to practice with safety. Introduced the concept of Radiolite to promote affordable, high-quality radiology products. Ensured to retain our team and provide customers with steady supplies of stock through the most challenging year for business.
